Meryl A. Hoeft
Meryl A. Hoeft received her Juris Doctor from New York Law School, cum laude, and her bachelor’s degree with honors from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. While in law school, Meryl was Articles Editor of the Law Review, a John Marshall Harlan Scholar and an Associate of the Diane Abbey Law Center for Children and Families.
Meryl began her legal career at Fersch Petitti LLC in January 2012. She started as a student intern while in law school and joined the firm as an Associate in August 2013.
Meryl has experience negotiating agreements and representing clients in litigation involving child support, child custody and visitation, equitable distribution and spousal support issues in the Family Courts and Supreme Courts of New York City and surrounding communities.
Meryl is a member of the New York Women’s Bar Association, the New York County Lawyer’s Association and the Association of the Bar of the City of New York. Meryl is admitted to practice in the State of New York.
In 2016, Ms. Hoeft was selected for inclusion on the Super Lawyers New York Metro “Rising Stars” list. Each year, no more than 2.5 percent of the lawyers in the state are selected by the research team at Super Lawyers to receive this honor.
